The famous all over the world vodka “Kalashnikov” is produced at one of the oldest factories of Udmurt republic. The Distillery “Glazovsky” was established in 1900 on the bank of Cheptsa river in Glazov. The town is between Kirov and Perm. This is a modern town with highly developed industrial sector and culture. The population is a little more than 100 thousand people.
The distillery today is a modern reliable enterprise. The workshops and equipment are modernized. New types of beverages are put out every year. The distillery “Glazovsky” produces more than 30 types of drinks such as vodkas, sweet and bitter liquors, aperitif and balm. The factory annual capacity is 900-1000 thousand deciliters. The alcoholic plant produces up to 2000 deciliters of alcohol from high quality wheat
The whole range of beverages is made from the self-produced alcohols and only natural ingredients. It guarantees delicious taste and aroma. The beverages are always presented at International and Russian Exhibitions. The production of the distillery “Glazovsky” was presented and awarded for its perfect quality and design at exhibitions that took place in London, Brussels, Moscow, Saint Petersburg etc
The factory’s pride is definitely vodka “Kalashnikov” that has been produced since 1995 Its technology was developed and improved by authority of our famous gun-maker – Mikhail T. Kalashnikov. This sort of vodka is unique because produced from high quality spirit “de luxe” and specially prepared water in combination with components that improve its quality. This pure vodka has nice delicate taste and aroma. Vodka “Kalashnikov” was proclaimed Golden Brand of the Year twice: in 2003 and 2004. For decade vodka “Kalashnikov” has won more than 20 medals of different denominations. Vodka “Kalashnikov” and vodka “AK-47” were rewarded with Gold Medals “For High Quality, New Millennium” and Diplomas of International Program “Golden Galaxy” that took place in Washington DC in Summer 2005.
Since 1997 the factory exports its production in different countries such as Australia, New Zealand, Germany, Austria, USA, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, France and former Soviet republics. Soon we are going to start exporting vodka “Lednik” (as vodka “Kalashnikov”). We are glad to welcome you and offer our beverages. We hope for a long and mutually beneficial cooperation.
